Our Community Outreach Program
Room 4 Hope was awarded this plaque in recognition of the services and support of the women residents at the Larimer County Corrections facility in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Thank you LCCC for giving us the opportunity to serve our community. Our Room 4 Hope attendees have made great strides in their lives to become better mothers, family members and citizens.
In the past 10 years, through the generosity of our mentors, their churches and other friends, we have met a broad array of needs represented by our Room 4 Hope women. Those needs include Bibles and study materials, dental assistance, apartment furnishings, medical bills, children's Christmas gifts, school supplies, computers, wheelchairs, clothing, food and many personal items.
To The Room 4 Hope mentors: "You are the one who always believes in me no matter what...who celebrates my strengths and doesn't seem to notice my weaknesses...who is there for me through thick and thin, always inspiring me to do my best. I can count on you to be the one who says, “you can do it”, “hang in there," and "everything's going to be okay." I want you to know how very much this means to me... and to say thank you for your love and support."
Love, Deanna M.
Who we serve
Our participants are women at risk who come from various backgrounds seeking support and encouragement. We have continued to find women by contacting women's abuse shelters, court drug programs, judges, probation officers, detention centers, halfway houses, alternative sentencing units and homeless shelters. We welcome any woman experiencing personal life challenges.
